Fishing is a feature added in the 3/2/2018 update. To unlock the fishing little town access you must complete the Bit Valley zone. After that it will authorize you to take the boat for travelling to the fishing area.
First Time Fishing Shop Dialogue[]
- Grella: Awrite Brammer! Welcome tae th' Fishing Shop! Hae ye seen mah handsome Ishy. Ah miss heem sae much! He hasn't bin haem in yaers!!
- Player: ...
- Grella: If ye see heem teel heem ah miss heem sae much. Ah want tae kiss Ishy's wee cheeks.
How to Enter the Fishing Area[]
Travel to the fishing area by taking the boat or clicking the FISHING Icon:
- Boat - click on the boat at the end of the dock (bottom right) in town next to Ishmael.[1]
- FISHING Icon - click, then choose 'PLAY' or 'ENTER'.
How to Play[]
Stand at the edge of the water, then click the ripples on the water, and then click START to begin:
- When the sliding fishing bar reaches the maximum distance click the CAST button.
- Second, press CATCH when the sliding fish reaches the moving green bar.[2]
- The catch probability depends on what part of the bar you hit (Success rate: green 100%, yellow 75%, orange 50%, red 25%, outside the bar 0%).
- Higher rarity fish have a smaller sized catch meter bar and also move less predictably, making it harder to hit that green zone.
- There is a time limit based on the rarity of the fish as well, so once it's hooked you'll want to quickly finish catching it before the countdown runs out.
- The catching bar's wide depends on fish type and bobber rarity. Each fish type has it's own width, ranging from 140 to 300 pixels, bobber widen that bar, up to 25%. The catching bar moves in an approximately 460 pixels frame.
- Keep in mind that your event ranking is based on the size of your single largest fish, NOT your total throughout the event.
